Suddenly parents have been thrown into an unusual situation: Children are stuck at home with NOTHING to do. Parents are scrambling to enroll their children in online programs. The question is, how do you choose which program to enroll in? There are thousands of online programs out there – from programs with live teachers to programs that are pre-recorded (so you watch any time you want.). There are free programs. There are paid programs. There are programs from elite colleges (some give college credit and certifications), from for-profit tutoring centers and from local non-profits. There are fun courses and there are rigorous courses. We are no longer limited by geography. How is a parent to choose?
